Digi Assist was founded in 2024 to support all businesses globally with all the administration/ marketing requirements. Digi assist is run by an experienced Virtual Assistant with over 20 years IT Experience and graphic design as well as all general administration duties.

I studied Textiles with graphic design and photography in 2001, passing with a merit. I wanted to study at university but did not follow this through and I got a job.

Remember this was in 2003, the internet was only just taking off, we did not have smart phones and technology was different, if even existent.

I started working for a company that sold all the car trimmings, from seat leathers/fabrics to rubber seals. Here my tasks consisted of Bookkeeping, Invoicing etc….

While at this job I the create a website from my own initiative and set up the eBay shop, listing all items for sale.

After this job I had 2 businesses which I owned and managed myself, one an off license and the other a café. These was very hand on businesses and took a lot of time, money and commitment. All logos and marketing materials I created and had printed. I also managed all the accounts myself, paid the employees wages and took care of all stock management and cash flow. This give me a lot of experience in accounting and managing books.

2 Children later and a few years past, I started a job working at a GP Surgery. Here I started out as a receptionist, answering calls, liaising with patients, email management, booking appointments etc…. I soon got a promotion to  Medical secretary, here I transcribed letters and booked patients referrals using the NHS booking systems, attaching the correct medical information for the referral.

Due to life commitments and wanting to challenge myself more and start my own business, i set up Digi assist to help all business remotely, showing casing my special skills for my clients and giving them extra time to do more of what they love to help their business thrive.
